Good to know

  • • Pakistan's NDMA guidance is about natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, heatwaves and others), not war.
  • • NDMA does not give a number of days to be ready or an amount of water to store. It advises keeping an emergency kit with water, food, medicines, documents, first aid, a torch, batteries and a radio.
  • • Rescue 1122 numbers were verified for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; check your provincial service if you live elsewhere.
