Häufige Fragen – Australien
Australien: Für wie lange sollte ich vorsorgen?
Die Regierung von Australien empfiehlt, für 3 days (Queensland advice) vorzusorgen. "Get Ready Queensland: think about what everyone in the house might need 'if you had to stay at home for three days'; the kit checklist lists 'Water for three days' and 'Non-perishable food for three days'. If you are in a rural or remote area, or at risk of extended periods of isolation, pack supplies for more days."

Australien: Wie werde ich gewarnt?
Emergency Alert is the national telephone warning system: it sends a voice message to landlines and a text message to mobile phones in an area facing a likely or actual emergency. Save +61 444 444 444 as a favourite so alerts aren't missed; satellite systems such as Starlink can't deliver Emergency Alert messages. Warnings use the Australian Warning System: Advice (yellow) – an incident has started, no immediate danger, stay up to date; Watch and Act (orange) – heightened threat, start taking action now; Emergency Warning (red) – you may be in danger and need to act immediately. The Standard Emergency Warning Signal (SEWS) is a wailing siren played on radio and TV just before an urgent safety message: stop and listen.
