Nasıl uyarılacaksınız

Early warnings are freely available through social media (Facebook, X, WhatsApp channels), newspapers, television and more than 140 radio stations. The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is the official source of weather warnings – always verify alerts with SAWS. Impact-based warnings are colour-coded: Yellow – be aware, stay alert; Amber – be prepared, remain vigilant; Red – take action and follow instructions from the authorities. What to do: stay alert, evacuate to safety, never cross flooded roads, bridges or streams, and contact your local authority for updates.^[1]
