آپ کو کیسے خبردار کیا جائے گا

Sirens sound across the country when a rocket or missile is detected, and the Home Front Command app gives alerts by area in stages: yellow (readiness / early warning, usually several minutes before a siren – a siren may not follow; move close to your protected space), red (enter the protected space now, with the same siren sound as the national warning system, issued according to the warning time set for your area) and green (all clear – do not leave the protected space until the official all-clear). The app update with these stages had to be installed manually. When the siren sounds or you hear an explosion, enter the protected space within the time your area has. The Home Front Command information line is 104.^[1]^[3]^[4]

Choose your protected space in advance, based on the time you have from the siren, in this order: a MAMAD (apartment protected space) or MAMAK (floor protected space) is best; an internal building bomb shelter (miklat) reachable by an internal stairwell; a public bomb shelter if you can reach it in time; otherwise an inner room with the fewest exterior walls, windows and openings; otherwise the building stairwell. On the top floor of a building over three storeys with no protected space, go down two floors and stay in the stairwell (one floor in a three-storey building). When the siren sounds: if inside, go into the MAMAD and close the steel window (or the chosen protected space / stairwell); sit on the floor below window level, against an inner wall, not opposite a window. If outside in a built-up area, go into the nearest building or sheltered spot; in open country lie down and protect your head with your hands. If driving, stop at the roadside, get out and go into a building or sheltered spot; if you can't reach one in time, lie on the ground and protect your head. After 10 minutes you may leave the protected space unless told otherwise. Keep away from unidentified objects or rocket fragments and call the police.
