الوضع اليوم
ما توصي به حكومتك
كن مستعدًا لمدة 3 days[1][2][3]
“Being ready for 3 days helps you manage while support reaches those most in need.”
المياه: 3 litres per person per day (drinking)[2][4]
الغذاء: Non-perishable food for 3 days: food with a long shelf life that doesn't need refrigeration or cooking, e.g. tinned meat, fish or vegetables, dried fruit and nuts. It's best to buy food you'd usually eat. Build up supplies gradually during regular shopping and check expiry dates every six months.[2][4]

معلومات مفيدة
- • Be Ready was launched by the Cabinet Office on 22 October 2026 as the first stage of a three-year campaign. It focuses on everyday disruption (power, water, phone, internet) from severe weather, flooding, power cuts, wildfires or cyber incidents, not specifically war.
- • The 3 litres/day figure is for drinking only; the checklist says more is needed for cooking and washing.
- • Shelter and stable iodine guidance comes from UKHSA radiation/chemical emergency guidance (written for incidents such as nuclear site or chemical releases), linked from Be Ready's hazard page. No UK government guidance specific to a nuclear detonation was found.
- • A printable household emergency plan is also available: https://beready.campaign.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/252/2026/10/Be-Ready_Household_Emergency_Plan_English_Final.pdf
- • Scotland (ready.scot) and Northern Ireland (nidirect) have their own preparedness pages linked from Be Ready.
