Lo que recomienda tu gobierno
Prepárate para 3 days to 1 week[1]
“食料・飲料の備蓄(3日分〜1週間分)… 最低3日分の水・食料の備蓄 … 大規模災害発生時には、「1週間分」の備蓄が望ましいとされています。 (Japanese; English: 'Stockpile food and drink (3 days to 1 week) … stockpile at least 3 days of water and food … for a large-scale disaster, a 1-week stockpile is considered desirable.')”
Agua: 3 litres per person per day[1][3]
Alimentos: Keep at least 3 days of emergency food (ideally 1 week for a large disaster), such as rice (e.g. alpha rice, dried rice that only needs hot or cold water), tinned food, dried fish and hard biscuits (kanpan), plus chocolate and biscuits. The government also promotes 'rolling stock': regularly eating and replacing everyday foods you keep in stock.[1][3]

Conviene saber
- • Japan's household stockpiling advice is written for natural disasters (earthquakes, typhoons, etc.); the civil protection pamphlet says the same supplies are very useful in an armed attack or terrorism.
- • A missile could reach Japan within minutes of launch, so act immediately when a J-Alert message is broadcast.
- • If a missile passes over Japan, you do not need to keep sheltering; check government information on TV or radio. If you find a suspicious object, do not approach it and contact police, fire or the Japan Coast Guard.
- • In a chemical, biological or nuclear incident, avoid eating or drinking until safety is confirmed, wash hands, face and body with soap and water, and follow official instructions.
- • Tokyo residents: the Tokyo Metropolitan Government publishes its own disaster books 東京防災 [Tokyo Bousai] and 東京くらし防災 at bousai.metro.tokyo.lg.jp.
